
| Plotting Your Station Location |

In this week’s issue we will cover how to plot your station location & the map’s starting location in the mapping module of FirePrograms. |

Station Location 1. Open FirePrograms 2. Click on System Setup 3. From the System Setup browse table – select the user Default then click the Change button. The default will set the station location for all users, if a user would like a different station location plotted – select the individual user and follow the steps below. 4. Highlight mapping in the left hand window. Coordinates will display for the current station location – these coordinates our for FirePrograms corporate office. Highlight each coordinate and press the delete key on your keyboard. 5. After removing the coordinates, press the Plot Using Map button. 6. Enter your station address with a comma between each item. For example: 377 Hwy 40 W, Inglis, FL, 34449 7. Click OK – a blue screen will appear. 8. Right click on the blue screen and select LookUp Address. 9. Verify the address displayed and click OK. 10. A station icon will now appear on the map at the address you entered. 11. If the icon needs to be moved, just click on the station icon and drag to the location you desire. 12. Click the Save Location button (bottom right hand corner) to plot the station location.
Starting Location 1. If you would like the map to open to the same coordinates as the station location, just copy & paste the coordinates from the Station Location fields into the Map Starting Location fields. 2. If you would like a different starting location, follow steps 1 – 12. A station icon will appear for plotting purposes, once the map starting location is saved the icon will disappear. 3. Each time the mapping module is accessed, it will open with the coordinates entered in the Map Starting Location section centered on the map. |
