In this issue we will cover the ability to hide fields on forms in any module.  This feature hides the desired field from all users view.  You also have the ability to unhide the field at any given time.

Hiding a Field

1.      Open the module in which the field is located.

2.      Right click between the field & the field label (text) – Field Properties will display.

3.      Left click on Field Properties.

4.      Place a check mark (click the box) beside Hidden.

5.      Click OK. 

You have now hidden a field, the changes will take affect once you reopen the form the hidden field is located on.

Unhiding a Field

1.      Open System Setup.

2.      Highlight Default Settings account – click Change.

3.      Select Hidden Fields.

4.      Click on the field you wish to unhide.

5.      Click Unhide Field button.

6.      Click Ok to Exit System Setup.

7.      Click Close.
