Docklet Manager & Docklets
 

In this issue we will cover the docklets and docklet manager.


The Docklet Manager: 
 

1. Open the docklet manager by double clicking on desktop icon

2. Select the desired docklet by checking the box next to the docklet name (there are currently 4 docklets to choose from.

3. Close the docklet manager

4. The Docklets should now be displayed on your FirePrograms desktop and can be arranged anywhere on the desktop you desire (appropriate permissions are required for this, please see your Administrator for assistance)

  

The Docklets:

1.       Clock docklet

A.      Can be set to display the time in analog and digital format.

B.      Digital format will also display the date.

2.      Stats docklet

A.      Displays department stats

B.      Can be set to display stats based on yearly or monthly increments

C.      Stats that can be displayed

1.      Number of Runs

2.      Average Response Times

3.      Most Active Firefighter

3.      System Monitor

A.      Monitors CPU and RAM Usage

4.      Weather Monitor

A.      Displays weather information based on Zip Code

B.      Information is provided by www.weather.com

 

Customizing Your Docklets:

 

1.      You can customize the color scheme of your docklet text 

2.      To modify the scheme, right click on the docklet and select Display / Text Color.

3.      Select the color you wish from the pallet provided or create a custom color.

4.      The System Monitor Docklet allows you to customize the fade colors as well.
